Coral Coast 2019

Pinnacles Desert

The 2019 season has commenced with our inaugural trip : Perth to Broome Coastal Tour – 14 Days.

This is a great tour which takes in the highlights of the coast north of Perth to Broome  – including the Ningaloo Reef and the majestic Karijini National Park. The WA coast line is a rugged harsh landscape with vast distances and incredible scenery. We have a lovely group of 11 guests who have joined Andy and Joel to explore the wild west.

The tour start off from Perth and looks at the Pinnacles desert before arriving in Kalbarri. They then explore the coast cliffs and inland gorge region of the Murchison River.

We continue up the coast: playing with the dolphins at Monkey Mia and staying at Hamelin Bay Station. We base our selves from here as we explore the Shark Bay region, with the Ocean Aquarium, Stromatolites. The area is famous for  WA’s first explorers – Dirk Hartog and tales of  ship wrecks. The night sky is incredibly beautiful and we spend some time in the Space Museum.

We continue further north as the weather becomes warmer and the coral coast intensifies. The Ningaloo Reef is home to Whale Sharks at this time of the year. Our guests get the option to swim with them, or snorkel with the turtles, manta rays. Some guests prefer to snorkel off the beach and go for a sunset sail. We provide a free reef explorer morning with snorkelling from a glass bottom boat out of the Exmouth region.

Beach Snorkelling Coral Bay

The beaches are pristine and white. We enjoy drift snorkelling along Turquoise Bay in the Cape Range National Park – Exmouth. From here the group enjoys an evening of fresh fish on the BBQ  before heading inland to the Hamersley Ranges and Karijini National Park. My next chat should show some photos of my favourite National Park in Australia – Karijini.

Until then. Enjoy planning your next holiday in our magnificent country – Australia. We are definitely the lucky country.
