KIMBERLEY SEASON COMES TO AN END

The Kimberley season for touring comes quickly to an end each year. Our final tour is staying at Manning River for 2 nights and then has a night at Silent Grove and one at Windjana Gorge before heading back to Broome via Derby. This trip has been a first on a few counts. The first group to have everyone walk back from the Mitchell Falls. The first group to have a proposal along the way. What a great destination for an engagement! Well planned and very romantic.

Andy and Dean have been enjoying experimenting with their desserts this season. Some guests have enjoyed their cheese cake and pavlova. Andy loves to cook a hot breakfast is there is time and enough eggs to go around. Sometimes they don’t travel well along the corrugations.

We have had a wonderful season with 8 tour groups coming through and 2 school groups. We would like to thank everyone who has holidayed with us this year. We would also like to thank all the other tour operators and service providers in the Kimberley.  A special thank you to the team at Fitzroy Lodge, Purnululu Station, Lake Argyle Resort, ElQuestro, Ellenbrae, Drysdale and all the camp supervisors at the National Parks. A special acknowledgement goes to the Wunambal Gaambera  people and the fantastic job they have done in their first season managing the Mitchell Falls region and camp grounds.

Thanks to all our hard working staff and may you all have a well deserved rest after a wonderful season. Next year will see Kimberley Safari Tours having a new tour : Broome to Perth trip. Come and join us on this in the future.

Safe travelling and God Bless xx
